Heartbroken man marries his pet snake believing it's his girlfriend who reincarnated

A heartbroken man has married his pet SNAKE - as he believes it to be his dead girlfriend reincarnated. The boyfriend, who has not been identified, is said to have been devastated when his lover passed away five years ago.

But he perked up when he spotted a snake with a ''striking resemblance'' to the girl and believed she had come back to life as a serpent.

He now spends his life with the 10ft long cobra believing it is his dead lover - following the Buddhist idea that people can be reincarnated as animals
