She told Bongo5 that female artists are now going head to head with their male counterparts. “Now they are even scared of the women,” she says.

“Now the women are giving them a run for their money because right now women are being serious in the music and they are taking over. When you look at the charts, most women are above like on the top of their charts and the men are there, which is a serious shift,” she added. She mentioned Sheebah Karunji, Winnie Nwagi, Lillian Mbabazi, Cindy Sanyu as some of Ugandan female artists who are doing it big.
