Shocking! After splashing millions, this Luo man can’t pay rent

They are known to flaunt their money. They are expensive and live like like English men. Those are Luos for you. Well, this man was the talk of town when he splashed a cool KSh1.2 million on his son’s birthday party. However, the poor man has been kicked out of his apartment over KSh118,000 rent arrears.

Douglas Otieno, commonly known as Daggy Owila, 29, cannot be traced by his landlord who has since confiscated his seven-seater sofa set, two tables and numerous documents.
The landlord has since leased the house to another tenant even as he pursues Daggy whom he said has not paid rent since July.

According to the apartment agent Dan Aguko, Daggy had rented the business apartment located at Polyview Estate for his office use and was expected to pay KSh35,000 every month.

Aguko said he received KSh22, 000 from Daggy for the month of July, with a pledge of paying the balance before end of the month. To avoid the shame, Daggy has gone into hiding and is no where to be seen.
